What inspired you to start a blog?
I’ve always had a genuine love for dressing up and expressing myself through personal style. Several years ago, I stumbled upon early fashion bloggers on Pinterest, and something about it sparked a curiosity in me that never left. Whether it’s getting dressed up just because, heading to church, or attending a special event, I’ve always found joy in putting outfits together. Over the years, people have often asked me about what I’m wearing, my haircare routine, or personal favorites and those conversations have continued to inspire me to share this passion in a more intentional way.
How would you describe your style?
If I had to describe my style, I’d say I’m drawn to timeless, elegant, and reasonably priced fashion. My goal is to encourage others to feel elegant and confident every day through personal style. As a teen and young adult, I was all about fast fashion and the latest trends. I’d end up with a closet full of clothes, yet somehow still had nothing to wear, nothing really went together, and I wasn’t shopping with intention. These days, I’m all about showing that you don’t have to spend a fortune to look polished and feel your best. I truly believe in shopping intentionally and building a wardrobe with pieces that are both versatile and made to last.
Are you a full-time content creator?
Yes! I’m pursuing fashion content creation full-time while also being a stay-at-home mom to our two boys and homemaker. Both roles are a huge part of who I am, and I feel blessed to do what I love from home.
Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas.
When did you get married?
AJ and I got married in the summer of 2020. We recently celebrated our five year wedding anniversary. I’m extra grateful for the love and friendship we’ve built together.
How many children do you and your husband have?
We’re raising two wonderful boys, and I have the joy of being both a mom and a bonus mom. It feels good to be a boy mom.
What is your background?
My undergraduate degree is in Early Childhood Education (EC-6), and I initially began my career teaching elementary school. However, I soon realized my passion for working with adults, leading me to transition into teaching life and career skills to individuals with disabilities. This shift allowed me to combine my love for teaching with my dedication to empowering individuals to achieve independence and success in their personal and professional lives.
What are your favorite foods?
Some of my favorite foods include extra-crispy French fries, pasta, and thin-crust pepperoni pizza. If I had to choose just one food to enjoy for the rest of my life, it would definitely be potatoes since they are so versatile and absolutely delicious!
